I like how HBD uses retired players as coaches. But every coach is a terrible player (just an observation, NOT a complaint). I'm wondering, have you ever seen a very good plauer retire to become a coach? Post link to player card and coach card.
Also, if you just have a really interesting coach you want to share, I'm interested in taking a look.

Great players make terrible coaches. And, quite frankly, why would a guy who made 372 million playing want to coach in the minors and ride a bus?

In real life, I agree, but I don't presume the HBD engine takes that into consideration.

That guy is not just "a coach." He's actually a pretty darn good coach. Thanks for sharing.

I've always wanted a career guy from my organization retire, have an insanely high patience rating, and end up becoming a strong coach for my ML team after 6-8 years in the minors. would make sense, yeah?
