So SR's leave when redshirted? Topic

If you're saying I should have my player back, I don't.

" redshirting a senior should be questionable. "

What?
redhawk_514, how would that read in English?

cardman needs his player back.... and the consequences of red shirting a senior is they drop to about 1 WE. Nothing needs changed here, cardman needs his kid back, fix the bug and move on.

If there's a bug and cardman gets this particular guy back, fine.

But you should not be able to redshirt a senior, particularly one described as the team's best player. That player would and should transfer. So if that's allowed now, the loophole should be closed in an update.

It has always been allowed . They closed it. . But changed it back.

I agree with you . . You should not be able to know with 100% certainly that the Senior would come back. . And I do think he should leave most of the time.

But before they implement that, it should be in the release notes.

That red-shirting a senior is unlikely and probably shouldn't be allowed. Unless it was medical a player in real life would be pretty unhappy about it.

I agree with this 100%. If you want to allow for some percent of players to do it, OK. But generally a Senior is not going to RS. In the NCAA, they can even transfer as a graduate if they have finished their degree .

I understand all that, but as far as I could tell it had been a long standing bug and I haven't seen anything official that says it was fixed. I was just trying to use strategy but I guess that's my bad and not the game developer's. Inconsistency isn't a good way to keep people sending you money for an incomplete simulation program.

They should add graduate students then

Granted I did think RSing a SR was out there, but only being 4 seasons in and having read about it on the boards i decided it didn't sound like a bad idea. Plus if he still has to sit out a season, what's the point of transferring?

They don't sit out a year in HD. I am not saying you shouldn't have done it (I have done it) .. I am saying no one should be able to do it :)

Wouldn't he have to be out a year? He didn't leave the team until after the season. So now he will be recruited to be on someone's team next year, right?

He actually just walks away in HD .. forgoes his 5th year (if he leaves)

"... probably shouldn't be allowed."

All right, then just don't allow it.

Or do. Don't just Mickey Mouse around.

Then tell us in plain English what you have done. Thank you.

How do we deal with "probably shouldn't?"
