OFFICIAL® BUCKS THREAD 2017!!!! GM search bungled Topic

The countdown to 50 losses begins.

National publications are down on the Bucks' chances this season. SI picked them 10th in the conference. ESPN picked them similarly in the magazine, but their RPM projection puts them 13th, with 33 projected wins (after accounting for Middleton's injury).

The parting shot from the opposing scout who sized the team up for SI is about right..."Jason Kidd’s had a lot of influence in personnel moves, and I don’t think that’s been a good thing."

As usual, the Bucks' roster has a few seemingly nice pieces that don't quite fit together, and with Middleton injured, none of those pieces can shoot a ball to save their life. Add poor defense to the mix and you're in for a long season.

Jason Kidd is a bona fide d-bag.

Its already pretty easy to not like the Bucks, but he makes it a lock to hate them.

Game 1 - home opener vs. Charlotte. Bucks never have a lead, shoot 19% from 3-point land (including 0-5 from "big" free agent pick up Teletovic) and are crushed. First round pick Thon Maker doesn't play, but second round pick Malcolm Brogdon looks like he might be useful. Not exactly a high bar on this roster, but still...

Game 2 - Bucks try to choke one up but are saved when John Henson tips in a Jabari Parker miss at the buzzer, and Milwaukee beats the horrible Nets by two. Second-year SG Rashad Vaughn unexpectedly shows some of the shooting prowess that got him drafted, hitting six 3-pointers

Game 3 - Bucks are thoroughly dominated by Detroit, especially Andre Drummond, in a performance more in line with preseason expectations. Bucks hit four of 17 three-point attempts and are outrebounded 58-40.

Game 4 - Bucks find a team shooting worse than they are, top the Pelicans 117-113. Brogdon has a nice game, Snell grabs 10 boards, Parker looks like he's attended practice recently.

Game 5 - Bucks go over .500, beating the Pacers 125-107. Parker hits four of six three-pointers; he and Giannis each score 27. Monroe with a good game off the bench.

Game 6 - Teletovic hits seven of nine from long-range and the Bucks rout Sacramento 117-91.

Game 7 - One night after scoring 117, the Bucks manage only 74 in four quarters at Dallas. Somehow that's good enough to force an extra period, in which the Bucks are outscored 12-1, losing 86-75.

Game 8 - Bucks give the Pellies their first win of the season, falling 116-110 at home. Jabari scores 33 but probably gave up at least that many on the other end. Bucks hit 6 of 18 three-pointers and miss five free throws.

Game 9 - Bucks beat Memphis at home behind Giannis' 27 points. Beasley scores 19 off the bench. Henson starts at center, replacing Miles Plumlee

if a team is starting a guy named Miles Plumlee at center, doesn't that tell you something?

The Bucks will not be staying at any Trump hotels for the time being. The Bucks owners are noted Democrat contributors.

To-may-to, to-mah-to.

That will show the Donald. Wicked great idea.

I'd expect them to start playing good basketball because of it too.
