I think I chose with my heart rather than my head in taking the Dodgers. More twists would help.

Yeah. I agree that the really good teams with 90 or more wins wioll have it tougher, but no one would have taken the Brewers without having a big twist advantage. My Mets won 100 games in 1969 and they are less than 80mil, even with the twist. We never would have filled this league if there were no advantage to having a 59-103 team somewhere in the rules. And remember.... Its only 10 twists for those teams. They will still need 8 regular contributing players from the real roster.

and we can't twist to the same seasons 2 years in a row, so next year, the advantages that teams have with lots of twists will equalize...

I am in with the Oakland Athletics
The first page still shows 16 teams entered.

Maybe you missed uncleal joined with the Red Sox and I joined right after him with the Athletics.

I have my team ready to enter but first I have question about untwisted players.

The 1969 Athletics have several members who played on multiple teams. Can I use their combined season or am I limited to only using the Oakland portion?

I didn't see it mentioned in the rules.

I wasn't complaining about the structure at all. I like that teams get more twists with worse records. I was just questioning how well my choice of teams will do.

Great question. No combined seasons. And it was covered, I thought. I gave the Randy Johnson example from 1998. If you have the Astros from 1998, you can use his Astros 1998 season with 84ip, or use a twist to get his full season with both the Astrodome and Mariners.

I definitely chose with my heart also. I will enjoy playing 40 seasons of the Mets though. Win or lose. And there will be many losses. Lol. I'm hopeful many chose with their hearts also. Will lead to many returning owners.
