ff09, as I mentioned recently there are now (post-salary update) some franchises with fewer than 6 $200K batters. Can you confirm whether you'll raise the batter exception to $225K?

Gonna try this one more time. Definitely won't be the first time I've had one too many Coors:

2007 Colorado Rockies

Try out a Coors team, crazystengel! I'm trying like hell to see if I can build a winner with a limited roster pool.

Finished 81-81 last time around, and that was with 3 separate 8, 9 and 10 game losing streaks. Exactly 1/6 of my season.

But I think I learned that you don't need high end pitching to win there. You just need a boatload of innings eaters and a decent enough pen to close out a 10-8 win. We'll see if or how that translates to the playoffs if I can ever get that far...

This time around, I'm paying a little less for homers and using the savings on extra IP. We'll see if Helton and Tulo and the boys can string together enough hits to get the runs I'll need to pull this off.
