Packers trade CB Damarious Randall to Cleveland for QB DeShone Kizer, also switching places with the Browns in the 4th and 5th rounds (GB moving to the top of each round).
Supposedly the Packers considered taking Kizer at the top of their draft last year before selecting CB Kevin King, so they apparently see something in him. Randall has been up-and-down as a player, getting sent to the locker room during a game against the Bears last season, but playing very well in the games that followed (but then missed the final two games with an injury that some thought he could have played through). He was also very critical of the coaching staff after the season ended. Packers probably decided they didn't want him in the locker room any more, but this move puts them even deeper in the hole where the defensive backfield is concerned, and they don't look to have significantly improved their backup QB situation.
