Frequent Flyers League (waitlist) Topic

Just to clarify, if a player didn't play for a whole season but then played the next, I can still use him right?
For example,
George McQuillan didn't play in 1912 but did play 1911 and 1913, so I could use 1910,1911 and 1913 as his 3 years if I wanted?

As another example-and a player I'd take if you allow it within the theme rules-Mike Donlin, 1908 New York Giants, (doesn't have seasons in 1909 or 1910) 1911 Boston Braves and 1912 Pirates. He did play for the Giants in 1911 but was traded to the Braves so I think that's ok? Thanks!

I don't think I really considered that when drafting the league rules. I think I'm inclined to say it's okay... as long as it's just a one- or two-year break for injury, military service, further seasoning in the minors, etc.

Ok, I'll go ahead and take Mike Donlin 1908 New York Giants, 1911 Boston Braves and 1912 Pit Pirates. Not sure he's a frequent "flier" let's say he punched his rail ticket a lot :)

I'm going with Justin Ruggiano - TX (2016) LAD (2015) CHC (2014)

I was considering Chick Fraser (1897 Louisville Colonels, 1898 Cleveland Spiders, 1899 Philadelphia Phillies)... and I was going to make that same observation.

One question: NL or AL? There's only one NL spot left open.

I'll jump in with:

Ben Zobrist

2014 Rays
2015 Royals
2016 Cubs

I have decided on Joe Sambito - 1984 Astros, 1985 Mets and 1986 Red Sox

Hate the DH part, but I think I'd like to try Tom O'Brien, 1898 Orioles, 1899 Giants & 1900 Pirates.

Thanks to having too much time on my hands, I've opted to switch to Elmer Flick (1901 Phillies, 1902 A's & 1903 Naps).
