I had a recruit I promised 25% playing time to and had that or more most of the season. After the week 6 game he dropped to 24% and lost 18 WE. Now after game 7 he is at 28% with no improvement in WE. Will he ever get his WE back up?

We was useful and a potential future starter before the drop.

Yes, he'll get it back. Just keep playing him like you did in today's game. I'm not sure about the number of games, but after the first WE hit you have a chance to correct it. If you don't fix it and he takes a second hit, there is no recovery.
