I don't think you will be able to offer the scholarship if it is not unlocked, right? I am pretty sure the last cycle is the last cycle. If the guy is in your division, then should be unlocked for a scholarship offer automatically in the last 24 hours. If you are going up a division (or 2) then you have unlock him. If you are able to 'offer a scholarship' before the 11pm turn, then yes he should sign with you (or someone)

He will get unlocked at 11... Which means no time for scholly.

Players projected for your division or lower unlock the last day, not the last cycle.

Spud's correct, zorzii. If you pull up an unsigned recruit, you should see Scholarship offer available without any attention points being needed.

I know I was stretching to d1 from d3

Only if the player is designated in your division. If you are D2 team trying for D1 recruit or D3 team trying for D2 or D1 recruits they are not unlocked.

"Players projected for your division or lower unlock the last day, not the last cycle."

To be clear, that is correct. jskenner's restatement of it was incomplete.

Anyways, test done, you can switch to d3 or d2 and if you play it right, you will have a competitive team so you are in contention right away. I had six schollies, screwed up cause I wasn't paying that much attention to it and ended with six players worth it. There is only D1 that's not working properly.
