Wow, I am stunned there are so many teams starting in the 1800's. Only 5 teams without dead-ballers.

There's going to be a lot of errors in this league. Will that give the modern teams an edge? Or will the blanket of deadball pitching counteract that?

^ Nope. my oldtimers are all pitchers and benchwarmers. and Jimmy Collins whose + plays compensate for most of his errors.

Like rbow, all my pre-1930 players are either dead-ball pitchers or bench players. With the exception of Ruth/Gehrig, almost all of my fielders are modern day (post 1970) but only 85 Ozzie Smith is what I would classify as an elite fielder.
