$110 2-Team Twist League-Season 22 (FULL) Topic

Start by choosing any year from 1885-2016, then choose 2 teams from that year. Starting this season, at least one of your chosen teams must have had a losing record in your chosen year. Then, create your best $110M team using the rosters from your 2 chosen teams, and twisting them to any season in their careers. No DH, WW, trades, clones or AAA. You must use the home park used by one of your teams during your chosen season. If neither of your chosen team's home parks are in the WIS database, use WIS park. Teams and years are not exclusive to one owner. Teams will be aligned chronologically, however, if any owner enters 2 teams, their teams will be placed in separate leagues. If any owner wishes to enter 2 teams, only 1 can be from years prior to 1950. MLB117327.

This format has produced multiple TOC winners, including season 18 when the 2 qualifiers finished 1st & 3rd with a combined record of 27 & 8.

Osoup, am I correct that we build our rosters from any player who played for our teams during our selected year, regardless of whether they had enough PA/IP to appear in the SIM for that year? If I'm right about this, I'd like to switch to the 1912 Phillies (73-79) and Athletics (90-62)

I'll join with the 1991 Astros and A's.

Yes, that's correct, celticus. Refer to http://www.baseball-reference.com/ for complete rosters.
