Rafael Belliard (.546 #OPS) drives in two game-winning runs as pinch hitter. I have no idea what sparky is doing but obviously it works. Its all downhill from here.

Back to back 1-5 sessions. Pretty sure I didn't have more than a handful of 1-5's the entirety of round 1.

After 4 games all 6 of my teams are at 2-2, I have a feeling I'll be hovering around .500 all season with this group of owners.

"When others zig, I will zag" was the biggest mistake I've made so far. 0-5 with a team batting average of .181 in the 110M theme. I guess I should've gone deadball era like everybody else.

The 'round 2 is hard' thing is not a joke. I think five of my teams could lose 100 games each.

My 65M team doesn't have enough innings (plus my pitchers have thrown a league high 149 pitches per game). It's just a matter of days before the fatigue spiral gets past the point of no return. I will certainly have two 100-loss teams.

It's interesting to me how even the 12x12 league is so far. Looks like most people got equally screwed

One of the reason I love the 12x12 (or 16x16) concept is that it's really hard to gauge how your team will do. There's been times I thought I had a great team and they finished .500. Other times I thought I made a bunch of drafting mistakes, and ended up winning 90 games. You can win using different strategies.

Maybe I can get the most wins in round 1 and the fewest wins in round 2. Balance everything out.

I'm pretty sure this will be my high-water mark of the season, but I just had a 6-0 session, where I outscored my opponents 73-9 in the 6 games. I fully expect a 1-5 session with 4 one-run losses in tomorrow morning's session.

OK, it wasn't 1-5 with 4 one-run losses... but 2-4 with three 1-run losses, including giving up a 5-run 9th to lose by 1 and a 6-run 9th to lose in extras, by 1.

A session later, 1-5 with three 1-run losses. Pretty close to my prediction. (This is not a complaint as I'm well over .500 in 1-run games in round 2, fueled mostly by two teams). It's just funny how a positive post will immediately invoke the Karma Gods.
