Why, because of the walks? Or because I drop down so far in the draft?
From an ERC# perspective he's probably going to be league average (if not a little better
[EDIT: I just crunched the numbers; he won't be league average but he won't be the worst]) in this league among starting pitchers. I'm a little nervous about the walks, but he'll definitely suppress homers and his OAV# is very good. My gut feeling is that he'll get enough guys out to be OK. So why waste money on a Killen when you can get one that you can use? The biggest problem with the 1891 Killen is that he has no cheap teammate, so unless you use George Davies (which was my original plan before the opportunity to get 400+ IP of awesome Christy Mathewson fell into my lap) you have to waste $1.5M with him. But, other than the $1M version, the 1891 Killen is the only one I targeted.
