As far as Westbrook goes . . . in the $52 million draft league his current team only won 32 games which was the 4th worst record in the league. And that was on a team that had Rodman and Dwight Howard on it. The poor EFG% really shows up on the road where the team won only 9 games and lost 32.

I think 16-17 Westbrook could be used in the ODL and make the playoffs.

Depending on the salary but I agree in principal with you NC.

Not "Steph Curry" potential, but Buddy Hield's Kings partial is a more than decent sg backup for 8-9 minutes per game

If we are talking back ups Joel Embiid looks pretty good 50.8% eFG

With 7.7% blocks I'd say 90 maybe higher

This, but WIS figures out blk% differently than standard. Standard removes 3pa from the equation. WIS figures everything. Thus, blk% is lower (significantly sometimes) on WIS.

Westbrook's efg% has risen over a point in the last month....... I still don't think he's very usable, unless in some sort of odd league... But he may finish above 48% efg for the season..
Just checked an advanced stat site, says he was 47.6% efg for the season. I'll probably still use him for the hell of it.

His TS% was 55.4%, he scored almost 9 points a game from the free throw line, and his assist% should be around 44%. It would be fun to surround him with a bunch of guys who shoot about 67% (hello Wilt) and see if you can win with him. The turnovers scare me.

I do have a question. It seems to me that the high usage guys can shoot a better percentage than real life if they're not double teamed. So if you don't double team Westbrook shouldn't he shoot better than 42.5%?

Also, it might be fun to put him on a state farm team just to see what happens.

Speaking of shooting 67%, did you know that DeAndre Jordan's career shooting percentage is 67.7%? I know his shooting range is limited, but still...
4/18/2017 11:20 PM
Actually because of Westbrook's ridiculously high usage I imagine his assist% will be under 40%.
4/19/2017 8:34 AM
His ast% will be 36.7%

Thanks Ben. Out of curiosity, what is the WIS formula for calculating assist%?
4/19/2017 12:00 PM
So assist rate is calculated: 100*AST/(((MP/(TmMP/5))*TmFG)-FG)

WIS calculates their ast% the same way but without subtracting the players own FGs at the end.
