College or High School? I am interested in pursuring my dream job which will be become a college basketball coach! I am going back to community college when I move back home. I have seen 1 article stating I need a bachlor degree.

College. I was an assistant baseball coach for a few years. Started teaching and couldn't handle the travel on top of a full time job, so got into my school's high school program. It's a great job, but a tough world to make a living in. A lot of dues to pay before you can get to the point of making a meaningful salary.

You may want to take courses in public speaking

My understanding is that SPD is more important than ATH and DEF in a press. In press/zone, would ATH and DEF become more important or would SPD still be a major attribute to recruit?

If you're running press/zone, I would look for speed and athleticism first before defense. You can hide bad defenders in a zone. You want to get enough defense where your guys aren't fouling out and putting the other team on the line 50x per game.In a press, it's more about steals with speed and less about defensive ratings. However, you want to recruit for athleticism because it enhances all other attributes.
