And I am currently looking at 70 - 72 Wilbur Wood and Vida Blue.

Hmm. So, the intersection of Wood and Blue is 1969 - 1978. You are saying I could take any three seasons from the intersection for each? Hypothetically, I could used '70, '71, and '76 for Blue and '71, '72 and '73 for Wood?

OK. I am finalizing a team using Trevor Hoffman and Jose Offerman. I figure their last names fit within the theme as well.

Jackie Robinson (1947-56) and Larry Doby (1948-1959).

If you make this a 16 team league, we only need one more team.
