Going with the two most controversial HOF candidates of our time: Roger Clemens and Barry Bonds!

I've been exploring a second team and Clemens offers a lot of enticing possibilities. However, a Clemens / Bonds combination does not work. Bonds would need a season later than Clemens' last season and he does not. Both ended their careers in 2007.

I was thinking about using the new HOF inductees but didn't think cloning a catcher 4 times would be useful!

I have built, what I consider, a very good team with Clemens and -------. A player I can't believe nobody has used yet!

Maybe I misremembered (see what I did there?) your rules.

What I was planning on doing with the Bonds/Clemens team:

Use 1990, 1991, 1992 seasons of Clemens/Bonds as the intersection. I know in the rules you stated the intersection seasons didn't have to be the same but I think it fits perfectly in the spirit of the theme.

Then I was going to use 1986 Clemens & 2001 Bonds as the compliments and should fit with your rule of player A having a season earlier than the intersection.

Is this what you intended?

Sorry, but no. As a mathematician, I am going to be a stickler on the mathematical rules.

The idea is to have at least one season in each players set that lies beyond the other players set; Player A must have at least one sim season earlier than any of Player B and Player B must have at least one season later than any of Player A. And you must use one of those seasons for each.

I will get in on this. Been looking at teams for a while but couldn't find one I liked.

I will take Rafael Betancourt (goes from 2003-2015 but missed some years in between) and Clayton Kershaw (goes from 2008-2016)

Need 3 more to make this a 16-team league. I may take on of those remaining spots myself.

There are lots of great combos available. Has no one tried Roger Clemens / Tim Raines for instance???
