C'mon over to MLB117478. We're starting up a new league to push us through the down season into Spring. Should be a great league for veterans as well as rookies. Here are the specs:

Starting w/$120,000,000. Players from 1950-Present allowed. League will be realigned after full (to make things more competitive between friends/family). NO CLONES will be allowed. NO DH, only true baseball here. Only 0-1 Championship allowed (let's keep it low for the "Bridesmaids" and "Never Been Theres" out there). After the 100th game, each team will be given $1,000,000.00 in bonus money to fill out their "down the stretch" rosters. Trades allowed and AAA players as well.

Can you please explain what "No clones" means?

Also, I see you have it set to Allow Injuries. The two open leagues I've played in don't have injuries, so I'm curious how those work and how owners handle them.

No Clones means you can't have Babe Ruth at every position playing. You must have different players at the positions (ie. you can't have the 1992 Griffey Jr. in RF, the 1993 Griffey Jr. in CF and the 1994 Jr. in LF). Hope you get the picture.

As for injuries...you just hope and pray that you don't get any. If you do...you fill in with either players that you have in reserve, or from your farm system.

We'd love to have you in this one...it's definitely for beginners.
