I know it's only a 16 team league but it's been a long time since I've seen a league fill in 1 day. 3 more and we'll get that accomplished!!

Has anyone put together their team yet? I was wondering if I chose the right cap size?

I chose my combo with cap size in mind and figured that was part of the challenge. I'm sure this could be run at a higher cap but then the results would likely be more predictable

Honestly my thinking was that most of the "expensive" players are in groups already so I didn't think it would be a problem fitting under $120. I was wondering if it would be better off at $100. I haven't put a team together yet with not knowing what group I'll end up with, I think I'll just give it a whirl with one of the groups left and get a better feel for it. How do you feel about the groups? I tried to match up "types" while making the field as balanced as I could, next time I might try to go with 24 groups, there are still a lot of great players out there but "good/great" starting pitching gets thin after the 16 I selected are taken off the board. I had Silver in a group but didn't think it was fair to take a 1/4 of the salary on 1 player so I cut him.

Groups are good. 100 is prob too low for some of these players, but that's just my take

After making a test team I agree too, I think $120 is as low as we'd want to go. I definitely could have went higher though.

Yes, but a lower cap could be considered if you had different players in each of the groups (guys like Sutton, Tiant, Boggs, Raines, etc). You could even do a non-deadball version (i.e., only players 1920 and later).

For these groups, I agree with Ozo. I have O'Neill and Sisler, 2 of my favorites. But using their good seasons takes a lot of cash. I have plenty of decisions to make at 120m. Also, being required to use 2013 Uehara is a LOT of money for a small number of innings.
