Yes, but a lower cap could be considered if you had different players in each of the groups (guys like Sutton, Tiant, Boggs, Raines, etc). You could even do a non-deadball version (i.e., only players 1920 and later).
That's scary, last night I started making lists of the best players from 1968-2016 for season 2....

Ok - I'll take the... AL A slot.

Put me on alternate list, looks challenging, Merry Christmas!!

Woo. Let's roll

Is this going to be realigned randomly or am I stuck with these goliaths?

I'm pretty sure those are the divisions (else why would they be labelled as such)?

For these groups, I agree with Ozo. I have O'Neill and Sisler, 2 of my favorites. But using their good seasons takes a lot of cash. I have plenty of decisions to make at 120m. Also, being required to use 2013 Uehara is a LOT of money for a small number of innings.
I agree. At 120k, you can't just reflexively use the best season for all of your core 4. It requires some choices....

That was my take too, but could've just been for ease of identification

Oh well,,, playoffs are overrated anyways

Don't play yourself down, GZ. You are currently tearing up KOH. If that's any indication, I'd schwarze, zephyr, and garman had better watch out

Yea those are the divisions as listed, I'll have a # sitemailed to you all before morning. And yes, I now realize there is a great deal of difficulty deciding which years to use because of the salary restrictions, I have been trying since the last group was taken to come up with a team I'm happy with and I haven't been able to do it, it's driving me crazy, but I'll settle on something tonight.

What about a four round offline snake draft to pick your core 4...must draft two hitters and two pitchers who are exclusive, same rules, etc.
12/16/2016 2:33 PM
I contemplated doing that but wasn't sure how well it would go over so what I did jbar is went back to our last draft in the DEAL theme and took the top players in that draft and made groups of them. I would definitely be down for everyone drafting there own core. I know there were groups I didn't want to "touch" and drafting your own core would eliminate that. In all honesty I'd like to bump it up to $140 too.
12/17/2016 1:18 AM
That's how we'll do it going forward
12/17/2016 1:20 AM
After thinking this through a little more I like the idea of a 4 round, off the clock, snake style draft where everyone gets to select their own "Core 4". You'd still be required to select an INF, OF, SP, and RP. All would be exclusive to your team. So before we start this one would you rather reset everything and go that route, or play this one through?
