For what it's worth, I've had much more success with the assistant search compared to the camps, as far as stretching my money a little further. The only real problems for me arise when I have spots open at 4 or more positions. Then it gets a little tricky. But, in general, I've found the camps to be more expensive and less productive. Just my opinion.

I've actually found the opposite. The extra openings provide me a higher scouting budget which allows me to find more recruitable players. Camps are tricky though as you get more bang for your buck, but also get a lot of scrubs in the process. I tend to focus on camps as they are then keep my local camp, and my assistant search in a small radius.

Had one scholarship, another guy transferred because of a broken promise and I cut 2 sim recruited players.

I battled a SIM for Maine and almost lost. Pretty much spent my whole 2nd half budget on him, 9 HV's, the CV, start, 20 minutes, 600 AP. I won on a 63/37 roll.

Dean, the one you like cub, was a last minute find. I just happened to check around 9:30 (recruiting closes at 11) so I offered him a scholarship. I suspect he'll sign because no one was on him. Not really sure how I missed him earlier.

Hummel was another battle with a SIM. It took 6 HV's, 1 CV, 477 AP and some promises. Won the VH/VH roll even though I was trailing 48/52. I think I spent my whole 1st half budget on him.

I totally screwed up scouting and FSS'ed way to may states. I finished with 141 players at level 1. Oops!

I am not taking my d3 team as serious as my Miles team. I am still finding great potential guys in d3 from the state of NewYork. I have potentially a .500 conference record at the end of the season with my College of Nj team.

What world do you live in?

At the time of your posting you finished the conference schedule at 6-10? How the fck you plan on getting to .500 with no conference games left?
Or do you plan on somehow winning the conference championship and are counting those games as well?

Next Recruit... I actually had to battle a human d3 for one guy and lost but this guy was unopposed.

Crappy, but next year it will be all my guys playing. I expect to be competitive and make the NT.
