Dippedncrack has a great idea going on over in SLB. A Historic Replay of MLB starting with 1982. I was thinking maybe we could get something similar going over here. I pasted the link for the guidelines for his league and incentives for participating. No way around it, some of us would deal with some very ugly seasons. Take a look at link that I provided and maybe we can get the ball rolling?

Does What if sports ever allow anything besides 24 team leagues in hockey? If not it will just be the 92-93 season

If WIS only allows 24 team leagues, we could make this concept work. For the expansion era with 12 teams, we could have one conference play the 67-68 season, while the other conference played the 68-69 season, and so on.

When we reach the years when the NHL added teams, some teams would not be selected.
