ERA and saves are close to 10% different. Would 90% of your salary be "relatively close" to what you're making? If so, send me that 10%. Thanks in advance.
Both Hoffman and Rivera averaged 39 saves a year.
652 to 601 was the numbers we were discussing, no?
You're getting faster as you age. It used to take you 3-4 posts to change the argument but now you're doing it in one. PED use?
Well, you flipped to percentages so I figured averages were OK too.
Well, I thought I'd use something you'd understand because it you think 2.76/3.08 and 652/601 are "relatively same", you're misunderstanding something.
Will you be sending me $51 for every $652 you make? You can keep the "relatively same" $601.
You don't think those numbers are comparable?
Putting aside the fact that saves are a useless stat, over 19 years, Rivera saved 652 games, averaging 39 per 162 games.
Over 18 years, Hoffman saved 601 games, averaging 39 per 162 games.
Seems pretty comparable to me. Relatively close is the term I used.
"Relatively same," doesn't make sense. No one says that.
