should we bring back the rule about not being able to start undrafted players, or should we leave it alone?

I'm guessing that most people will throw away the opinion of the guy who took KG @11, and that is fine and possibly deserved, but I'm not sure David Robinson @19 is a steal.

Clearly, he is a great player and a first rounder, but I can't imagine I'd ever select him high enough in the draft to get him. Maybe wiser folks could explain his value

Is there still a rule that none of your 5 undrafted guys can be over 3 mill and they can't start and stuff like that? Couldn't find any rules on undrafted guys
no starting undrafted players was an old rule here.
the $3m was actually $4m & was a funk 52 rule; there was no such rule in the ODL. However, your five highest minutes players had to be drafted.

These were the odl rules.

The downside is he is very pricey - so I can meet you halfway here. then again, he is pricey for a reason. He is "better" than Shaq, because of the defense, but probably not better on a per dollar basis in this league.

Considering value, ($/min) who would you rather build an ODL team around?

jh - that 91-92 David Robinson season is absolutely perfect for this league.

Thanks Ash......I hope we decide the rules pretty quick. Leave it like it is now, kinda hard to change after the draft has started.

Pretty close to Shaq's 02-03

close, but 91-92 Robinson is better at blocks, steals, fouls, TO's and rebounds

Who would use Shaqs 02-03 season in this league? It's basically 93-94 or 99-00.
It's tough building around a $10m player with this cap

None of those are the right Shaq.

I meant 92-93. Not sure if that's what you are talking about.

I thought 93-94 was warmer. I think he was prob referring to the 8.9M 00/01 as the sweet spot
