You paid to fit Walsh and Alexander and the $10M Joe Jackson, so that forced different decisions throughout the rest of the roster. I'm a bit surprised you had none of the cookie LR like Toney, Nehf, Schupp, but not as surprised in the differences elsewhere.

After all the analysis, I am glad to see that there is this much variation in the rosters. There is, on average, only about 30% overlap (measured in salary). I was debating on the cap level to use. I wanted most of the top players represented, but also wanted some decision making and tough choices. I think $120M works almost perfectly (although lower caps would certainly promote more variability even though fewer studs would be used).

1910s is a unanimous choice for best NL decade so far, and yet it has a vote for worst NL decade.

Idk. It'll be close. 1910s or 1900s. Nearly everyone agrees with me that the 1950s and 1970s will probably be the worst decades.

My biggest debate making my 2000 team was whether to use 2000 Pedro or not. He's very expensive so I almost went with 2002 Pedro but decided that I found some good enough hitters for cheap. How many and what percentage did people choose 2000 Pedro?
