So many leagues concentrate on offense and solid defense. Once the 20 or 21 players have been slotted into the roster the poor, bedraggled, Rodney Dangerfields of sim hockey get added to fill out the team. Most times they know they know they will never get to see the ice and will be destined to ride the pine for the entire season.
It is about time we pay tribute to these often overlooked players and give them a shot, So.......
all skaters have zero goals (that will change, hopefully)
all fwds have a salary under $500K (max $499)
all fwds have a maximum d rating of under 75 (max 74)
all d-men have a maximum d - rating of under60 (max59)
all d-men have a salary of under $1 million (max $999k)
3 goalies must be drafted, not 2!
goalie salary must be under $1 million ($999k)
goalie save % must be under 88 % (max 87.99%)
Salary cap for the league is $10 million. No lasting injuries or suspensions, no trades, no shootouts, no clones, no MLers, WW is allowed but within parameters of the league (so be very careful!!!)
Questions to be answered:
who will win the Rocket Richard Trophy
how many 0-0 games will there be?
how many shutouts will lead the league?
and many more.....
