RPLY Crossover - Let's keep playing - Full Topic

We are starting off in 1952 regressively and 1954 progressively after playing 52 seasons starting on 1900 heading all the way until 1952 and starting in 2006 and heading all the way back to 1954.

That is where the crossover comes in. We have finished 52 seasons, crossing over from 1952 to 1954, and from 1954 to 1952. Back in 1946/1960 we voted to use two instances of a player, one progressively and one regressively so we would have enough players. We have been using AAA to fill in the lack of PA's and IP for now. We also voted to end the league after this past season and call it good but I decided I could continue to handle running the league as I took this league over thinking it would end when we collided in 1953 but then the two versions and crossover made it so interesting I think we all wanted to see how it turns out.

Once we get to 1943 regressively and 1963 progressively that'll go away and we will have a unique league that can go as far as 1885/regressive, and to 2021 progressive. The league started in 1901 progressive and 2005 regressive so it could run 120 seasons and remain the longest running regressive/progressive in WIS history.

We skipped 1953 only because of the two versions and the nightmare it would create. The 1953 regressive and progressive rookies have been added to this seasons available player list so they don't get left behind in all the fun.

This is the first time we've advertised since 1947/59 as we have an outstanding group of owners with all being great gentleman and gamesman.

This is my old team and there's still plenty of talent to make a run with just another couple pieces. Great league and rooskie does an excellent job of running things smoothly.

I'm confused as heck, shouldn't join a progressive and can't tell if this team is any good, but I'm intrigued! To clarify, Maglie (for example) jumps to his '54 season and progresses forward while Meyer falls to '52 and regresses from there?

I'll join.
