Anybody interested in playing in a league where you use the exact roster from the All-Star game?

Choose an exclusive year/conference and use the actual all-star game active roster from your year/conference. If you select 1991 Campbell Conference, you will be using the All-Star players 1990-91 season, NOT 1991-92.

Looks like 1971 is the first year with 20 man rosters so it would make sense to start with that season.

No injury substitutes, only using players that were on the active roster for each All-Star game.

Some years don't have 23 players so we'll need to come up with a reasonable way to fill all 23 roster spots. I'd like the filler players to be benched and not used throughout the year.

Rules:

• $125 Million cap
• NO: Clones, injuries, MI, Playoff Intensity, Trades, Twisting, or WW
• Only one instance of each team will be allowed. Sign up on first come, first serve in the forum.
• Use arena that All-Star game was played in your year.
• Divisions aligned by year.

1996 east for me but a cap of 120 million actually sounds a bit low to me. I guess it forces you to take some scrubby versions of all stars but then they arent really allstars. What about 150 ?

Nope going with a straight up all-star team. Don't think that the best players were always chosen for the rosters!

Almost every team has 20 players. I'd prefer that you bench the 3 filler players and it would make sense that they come from your year.

I was going to take 1977 Wales Conference.

The total salary comes to $122,361,354

That is with 3 players at $165,000

One of them is '76-77 Bert Wilson who has to start for me since there are 7 D men and only 11 forwards on the all star roster.

All-star game is this weekend. Any takers???

I thought this would be a popular theme. Everybody wants to use the best seasons of every player and have a lot of repetition? NO thanks!
