I had several players lose ratings points in the offseason, including ones with higher WE. How does this occur and what do I need to do to prevent this?

How you have your practice set at the end of a season MAY affect the off-season gains or declines. That said, zhawks could be right. there may be no effect from anything you do.

I agree - zhawks is either right or wrong.

I have not seen effects on this from practice minutes - and have seen long ago folks say that they have seen no effect.

I don't think they have any effect. I always have tons of minutes in conditioning but typically lose ST as was mentioned.

Since there is nothing you can do to prevent it, just try to plan around it. For example, don't plan on a big man with 20 WE to reach his Stamina cap because he will like gain 5 pts during the season and then lose 4 pts in the offseason, thereby negating what was gained. So just know going in that it can be a tricky rating to increase and if you really need it then you could be hurting. It can be really frustrating sometimes.

It has been said years and years ago that practice plans don't run in postseason. The explanation was always "kids don't always practice during the offseason" which translated to "Kids Never practice during the offseason" in their code.
