What is the longest team losing streak in baseball here? My team (called First Place Team) was 11-11 and now has lost 18 in a row.

Well, I seem to remember hearing that there have been teams that were built to lose (don't ask me why...) that have succeeded in losing all 162 games. I've personally seen teams lose 30+ in a row, usually because they are way short on innings and all of their pitchers are fatigued.

A guy in one of my progs is on an L20 right now. But he hasn't exactly made a fetish of watching his pitch counts and fatigue and whatnot.

L162 is shared by many, unfortunately

I was in an open league where one team went 0 - 162

Got it up to L29 before finally winning one.

I'm gonna go on a limb, and the one I had a few years ago had to one of the worst ever......

Dustin 101 went 0-162 in a league on purpose (or was it) . Ithink a more interesting streak would be a losing streak where the opposing relief pitcher got a save.

I remember back after GW Bush won his second term election, it was probably early 2005. Some guy made a team of guys named either "Bush" or "George" and clearly didn't care about fatigue issues. He picked the worst possible players meeting those parameters no matter their IPs or PAs, and proceeded to go 0-162. Hopefully he had some credits to blow... I think his team name was something clever like "Bush Sucks".... obviously made an impression on me.

Not my cup of tea in general (did try it once), but Failure Gets You Seven is a theme league that's run on occasion around here...
