I'm in, a bit confused why you wouldn't use the utility with the setup you're using here. It would eliminate people selecting already drafted players because it takes them out of the database for you, and that's always an issue with exclusive player drafts.

Welcome. Only because I've never used it before. All of the drafts that I have done have done them in the forum. But I'm open to it if that's what everyone wants to do. Happy to have you, Duece.

why not a higher or unlimited cap to get the best of the best from the 2 plus decades?

I think $120.00 is about right to add a little strategy to the draft. I also don't think it will really be a problem or too little once 24 owners start drafting. I would do a high cap next time if it looks like there are enough $ in players left over.

I took a look at the player universe - with 24 teams the only way you are going to blow past $120 million is if you go overboard on at bats or innings.

As an example, you can get nine batters and five starters averaging $7 million each, seven RPs averaging $2.5 million each and four bench players at $1 million each and still be under cap. There aren't 24 teams worth of those players to be drafted.

Maybe 2004 Bonds creates a problem for someone, but otherwise $120 million should be ample room.

I'm in, but would prefer the draft utility. It really simplifies the research.
