You're going to have dissension in your bullpen. Alll those pitchers and only 3 of them will see most of the action.

I did not expect all three of the hitters I was interested in to still be available. I think I have to forego the extra bit of defense I was considering, and go with the most ludicrous box scores I can. To that end, I will make it my goal to steal 10,000 bases with Rickey Henderson.

Wheee!! I hope you are doing that for the giggles. In the first go-round Ted would sometimes make 6-8 errors a game at SS !

If I can't find someone I'm really happy with for the last pick, maybe I should go with David Ortiz or Edgar Martinez ... I can't imagine how many errors a full-time DH could make in this league!

Normally I'd be boring and take a guy who can field but not really hit. Figured I'd try something different.

As the guy who used Ted Williams in the first iteration of this league, good luck! The hitting was knsane, but just couldn't make up for the fielding. Had a team OBP well over .400, (like .420 IIRC), but even with pretty good pitching it was just a total nightmare.

So torn over who to pick. I guess I'll go with

I gave a ton of thought to him, too. I really wanted to take him. My fear was that he would run low on quality innings at some point. But he would probably also dominate some of these great lefty hitters. Should be very interesting.
