I've done this league 4 times, and i'll tell you that you probably don't want to use Addie. There aren't enough of him, and he doesn't have the innings that you'll need for a team made entirely of Hamilton's and Foxx's. Pitching isn't as important as hitting, but it's still important.

I did a two man band about 4 years ago and I just found the screenshots. I used Billy Hamilton. We had damn near 3000 total steals. Nearly everyone went over 800 PA's. I used 1897 Billy as my catcher and he had 35 errors, and he caught 83 out of 558 stealing! The best stat is that he also had 508 passed balls. This is probably the most fun league you'll ever play in. Every box score is magical.

A lot. Many, many errors mean many, many long innings. Also they're facing really good hitters. 2000? Maybe that's too many. They don't all have to be great.
