So now you're teaching?

Are you sure you're not overvaluing your opinion just a bit?
I actually am teaching until I can find a research job I like...

Of all the people to accuse someone of overvaluing their opinion.

The forum experience on here is infinitely better since he's been blocked.

I'm sure you have no problem with self worth. People interested in actually learning or improving have always been in the minority.
I'm not surprised to hear you say this. People that perpetually have a pompous stick lodged in their behind often make comments like this to self justify their overblown perception of themselves. Carry on.

And people that are willfully ignorant typically tend to characterize people who try to teach them something as arrogant and superior because it's easier than admitting they didn't know what they were talking about in the first place.

Although in this case I did already admit to being an arrogant *****.

My second grade simply twisted my ear & said "Wake up sleepyhead".

Are you not in full on characterization here?

Plus, in all fairness, the phrase should be delusional, arrogant *****....but perhaps that just goes without saying?
1/24/2017 11:52 PM
Was that intentionally ironic? Like a joke? Or is one of us just really, really lacking in self-awareness?
1/25/2017 12:43 AM
Isn't it your assertion that I lack the capacity for intentional irony?
1/25/2017 1:01 AM
Because you don't want to learn proper English? I mean technically irony can be a literary device, but I'm pretty sure you don't need a particularly high-level grasp of the language to be ironic... I'm willing to bet some amount of irony predates written language entirely.

Oh look. Sean Spicer Jr. Sets the record straight.

I'd counter that you need a very firm understanding of any language to use it intentionally for indirect means.

What with people confusing other things for irony all of the time, in particular.

I just found it odd that, both times I've recently been reported, that...

A) The threads disappeared
B) BL was the first to celebrate(kind of like he knew it was coming)

Could be coincidence. Or not.
