Idea for fixing recruiting Topic

The problem right now is that it is way too difficult to recruit for the amount of open scholarships that you have. This severely hurts Fastbreak/FCP teams that need 12 players to succeed. I have been forced to take bad players that I would never take because I need that extra player to succeed. It hurts anyone that has a lot of open scholarships. It would still be an even playing field, but it would be an even playing field for more players.
I'm guessing... but maybe its because you're reaching too high?

for my D3 FB/Press team I don't even really look at D1 and just go for D2. 3 seasons of recruiting in 3.0 and I've been okay.

agreed that its tough to take a walk on with FB/Press. Might just need to aim lower.

You do realize that everyone else has more AP too, right? They'll be recruiting 2 players for 4 spots instead of just one also.
Yes I do realize that. But then I would be able to fight more battles, right now there is not enough resources to recruit for the amount of open scholarships you have.
So would everyone else.

Your situation doesn't change.
Yes it does, currently I can recruit 1 guy at 80 in a battle and 1 guy at 20. That guy at 20 is then fighting a guy at 80. I have no APs free to give him, I lose the battle. If we both get more APs than I can give him 80 APs to keep up. He can't add APs to this player, he can then add APs to another player.

Math is hard. I'm not inclined to explain to you. Have a good day.

You don't think so. Because you don't want to understand it or don't want to understand it.

But, nonetheless, has anyone agreed with you? Ponder on that.

Drop the shovel and walk away.

They cut the max AP almost in half. That changed recruiting back to strategy rather than AP hammer. Now you have to pick and choose more carefully. Pick your #1 target and hit him as hard as you can. While you do that, systematically open #2, #3, etc. Do the same with your backups. It helps if your backups are actually backups and not a secondary list of primary targets (Simply because they are somewhat lesser than your primary targets). You can run a press team effectively with 10 players. If you can do that, you always have 2 extra spots worth of resources.

You could do the same. Since you don't actually play HD. But you don't. You lurk around like some perv.

Ok, but I'm agreeing with you, so here, take this candy and hop in my van.

Having someone agree doesn't do a whole lot for me.

It's just creepy to have someone lurk a forum of a sim game they don't play. What's nerdier than nerd?

Forums are just forums. Half the time we aren't even talking HD.

OK, that's fair. What other forums do you participate in?

The solution is that AP value should have diminishing marginal returns. Skip the '80' limitation, but make the recruiting value after 125% of final unlock decay until it is useless after 300% of final unlock (an email could arrive "quit texting me...I've got an exam, dude!").
I've been on this horse for a while, along with increasing the number of late preference players and a signing-free cycle or two at the start of RS2. Diminishing returns for all APs, and negative returns (after unlocking all actions) for bad preference matches.
