How often do they stay?

I've never had 1 stay. I'm sure it happens, but not often. I've also had a few guys not on the draft board leave early so it's all pretty random really (also guys not on the draft board leaving early really sucks in 3.0).

I had one stay two seasons ago I believe at Michigan, but I'd say it's rare. and agreed, I've had people not on the board go, and people go that were likely staying.

If likely going, I'd say they stay less than 10% of the time, probably less than 5%. No science behind that, just experience with over a dozen guys drafted (all I think since the big board came into being)

Might have something to do with postseason success.

I have often "felt" this way but never seen any hard data to back it up. I know there were some threads from a few years ago suggesting this. FWIW I have never had a "likely going" stay, but have had a bunch of "likely staying" go.
