Dude reminded me of Pedro Martinez in stature and movement on his pitches.

He made $750,000 last year and was set to make 3.2 mill in 2017

He said before the 2015 WS that he and Pedro worked a lot in the offaeason. Pedro said the same thing from the commentator desk.

As with Fernandez, I don't feel sorry for someone who kills themselves while high and/or drunk. I have sympathy for their family and friends, but mainly relief that they didn't kill more people. If these men weren't athletes, people would be saying "The drunk/high so-and-so got what he deserved.". Being they are in the public eye, if anything, they should be held to a higher standard, not a lower one.

I see his legs, so I guess no seatbelt.

Correction: we have a bunch of slow *** drivers in Houston. As long as I can get around them, then we're good to go

Rumours are he survived the crash; a bunch of guys found him, gave him a beatdown, stole his WS ring and other valuables, and left him to die.

If that's true, then who's to say that the criminals didn't purposely force the guy driving the nice car off the road with the intent of robbing him. Too coincidental that thugs showed up before others. Again if true.

Ya. Or perhaps he was speeding to get away from them and flipped his ride.

@all3, so far, multiple sources say no alcohol was found at the scene. The road travelled is mountainous and conditions at the time of the crash was dense fog. Coroner originally reports he didn't survive the crash. The missing ring does raise questions.

Most people driving drunk don't have alcohol in the vehicle with them.

Maybe that's not true in the Dominican.
