Yes, the '71 West team was loaded. The '72 team has many of the same players. The idea of having 4 (Wilt, Kareem, the Big O, and Jerry West) of the all-time top 10 NBA greats on the same team is hard to pass up. All the early 70's and prior teams are a bit funky in WIS due to the estimates of Blocks, Steals, Turnovers, and 3 point shots attempted and made. The '72 team came out a little bit better in that regard.

I think this theme league will provide a different outcome than most leagues that ban Jordan or Wilt. Both guys made the all-star team almost every year they were in the league and with the cast of all-stars surrounding both legends, it should level the playing field!

I went with the 2001 WEST for the combination of defense and rebounding.
