IR going into offseason? Topic

Should I leave a player on the IR going into offseason. He is past his 60 day DL stint but still short one on his OA from the injury.

If he is still on the IR would that prevent him from gaining anything in the offseason? Or should I cut my loses (1pt OA) and figure he will gain more from not being on the IR?

There is no DL in the off-season. You can leave him on it and open up a spot on the 40 to prevent FA. Assuming he's on the 40.

How "long" is the offseason? I hate that a second bump can disappear when there isn't enough time in a season for a second bump, but the player has recovered by the next season

Does the 110 game include the current year's playoff games? Or is it strictly the off season?

So, if I have a guy that is currently at 107 days from recovery from a major injury, does this mean he will not get his major second recovery bump? This is not bug related, this is a major injury. Game 6 & 7 of the World Series are tonight and tomorrow morning, respectively.

Yep, he will NOT show up as injured after rollover.
