It is my opinion that many of the leaks coming out of the White House are fabricated lies made up by the #FakeNews media.

Whenever you see the words 'sources say' in the fake news media, and they don't mention names....

Does anyone notice how the Montana Congressional race was such a big deal to Dems & Fake News until the Republican won? V was poorly covered

British Prime Minister May was very angry that the info the U.K. gave to U.S. about Manchester was leaked. Gave me full details!

The Montana story is still on the front page of CNN Politic's page.
No it's not. It's Russia, Russia, Paris Accord, Kushner Russia, Clinton.
The presidential campaign being investigated for collusion with the Russians is big news. Much bigger than a favorite winning a house seat.
Boring snoring. Blah blah blah.... It's been over a year now and there's not a shred of evidence. It would be a big deal if the ACTUALLY found something.

Yet no tweets for the two men killed sticking up for two muslim teenage girls in Portland.
I read the police reports. No mention, or charges, of a hate crime. Either way... It's not national news... And only the fake news outlets are picking up the story as national news.
How is a terrorist attack not national news?
It's not even close to a terrorist attack. Stop being a drama queen.

If a guy on a train who mouths off and then stabs a couple guys that squabble with him is terrorism... Then I have a good read for you.... Last weekend in Chicago:
.
.

CHICAGO (CBS) — Four people were killed and at least 34 others, including a 9-year-old boy, were wounded in shootings across Chicago between Friday night and Monday morning.
.

The weekend’s latest fatal shooting happened about 2:40 p.m. Sunday, when an 18-year-old man was killed and a 15-year-old boy was wounded in the 100 block of North Parkside in the West Side Austin neighborhood. The man was shot in the back and pronounced dead at the scene at 2:52 p.m., according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office. His name has not yet been released. The teenager, who was not cooperating with investigators, suffered a gunshot wound to the shin and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition stabilized.
.

Earlier Sunday, a 46-year-old man was shot to death in the Gage Park neighborhood on the Southwest Side. He was walking on the sidewalk about 3:45 a.m. in the 2700 block of West 55th Street when a male walked up to him and shot him in the head. He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he died, authorities said. His name has not yet been released.
.

Shortly after 1 a.m. Sunday, a man was killed and two other people were wounded in another Austin neighborhood shooting. The group was walking in the 4900 block of West Hubbard when shots rang out and they were all struck. A 34-year-old man was shot in the chest and taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 1:53 a.m., police and the medical examiner’s office said. His name has not yet been released. A 23-year-old woman was shot in the left hand and a 33-year-old man was shot in the left shoulder. They were both also taken to Stroger Hospital, where both of their conditions were stabilized.
.

About 12:20 a.m. Saturday, 53-year-old Tina Brown was found dead with a gunshot wound to her head inside a home in the 8000 block of South Essex in the South Chicago neighborhood, authorities said. The shooting might have stemmed from a domestic issue. An autopsy ruled Brown’s death a homicide.
.

The weekend’s latest non-fatal shooting happened at 1:49 a.m. Monday in the East Side neighborhood on the Far South Side. A 16-year-old boy was the front seat passenger in a vehicle traveling in the 10600 block of South Ewing when someone in a silver car fired shots, striking him in the left shoulder, police said. The teenager showed up at Trinity Hospital, where his condition was stabilized.
.

The 9-year-old boy was grazed by a bullet at 8:11 p.m. Saturday in the Marquette Park neighborhood on the Southwest Side. He was in a vehicle traveling in the 2500 block of West 69th Street when someone fired shots in his direction, police said. He suffered a graze wound to the head and was taken to Holy Cross Hospital, where he was listed in good condition. The shooting may have stemmed from an altercation between the vehicle’s driver and the shooter.
.

At least 29 more people were wounded in shootings across the city between 11:30 p.m. Friday and 6 a.m. Monday.
.

Last weekend, 21 people were shot in the city, leaving six dead.

Report: Trump to reverse Obama's Cuba policy

More Obama legacy being eradicated.
I'll believe it when they actually do it. It's like the fiduciary rule they said they were going to wipe out that isn't actually going away.
Funny you mention this. I sat through a meeting last month where I was told anyone with less than ~$100k in investable balances have been dropped from their advisors and re-assigned to a call center for trade advice specifically because of this rule. I'm not sure how you think this is a good thing for 'the little guy'.

I fully understand why a liberal or progressive doesn't like Trump. But consider this:

The reason many of us gave him a chance was the hope that he would move the needle forward on the economy. But another was his willingness to drain the swamp. No one has dared to attempt this, not openly anyway...

I consider him neither Republican nor Democrat. He is a populist. He needs to be in order to take them on. He would need to confront any of them who stand in his way, especially those too far left or right. His best chance is through the middle. He can hope to reign in at least a few from either side through deal making(infrastructure, court nominees, taxes, healthcare) . But the vast majority of the Establishment is either Hard Left or Hard Right. They both oppose him. He is the biggest threat to come along since H.W. was in office. As pointed out, much of the Establishment has been in place since Bubba was in charge.

What I am about to say does not compare Russia to America, but there are scary similarities involving the ruling elite, their minions, and their respective media...What factor mostly holds back the Russian people from prosperity? Is it work ethic? No. It is their ideology, Communism, but more than that it is the ruling class looking out for themselves, their control on power. Their media, in exchange for political favor, are all too happy to trumpet their every wish. Their propaganda machine keeps telling the worker class that The Kremlin is working for their benefit. Some, perhaps many know it is a ploy, but they have no way to fight the Establishment. The rich get richer, the rest are getting by if they are lucky.
Here in this country, people are working more, taking home less. The middle class is shrinking. Poverty levels are worse now than at any time in recent memory. The elites tell us they are working for our benefit. But we have seen no real improvement. The rich get richer. Their power grows. And the media, they trumpet the word of the elites, in exchange for political favor, for the status quo.
The elites will do anything, say anything, will ruin careers of decent people to maintain the status quo. Their minions will wreak havoc, the media will say and do anything to disrupt, to delegitimize anyone or any group that appears as a threat. We saw it in 2010 with the Tea Party. Both left and right attacked. Used legal and illegal means to slander, disrupt, minimize their push. They mostly succeeded.
Donald Trump has serious faults. But he is a disruptor to the Establishment. He is a threat. They must defeat him at all costs. This is essential.

For him to succeed with draining the swamp is no small task. He has extra tasks to deal with. North Korea, ISIS, etc...but his biggest obstacles are here. The media. Identity politics. Groups of Americans pitted against each other. Some is accidental, but I suspect this is an effort to disrupt, to distract us. Islam. Being labeled racist, bigot, misogynist. We can debate HIS politics, but he needs to be able to reestablish the Rule of Law. Bring order, while the Establishment promotes anarchy. He must protect the citizens. He must protect us from threats both foreign and domestic.
We can dicker later over moving right or left on this issue and that, but first things first. The people must take power back from the Federal government. The power, the purse, the voice, they must be at the state and local level.
Thomas Jefferson and John Adams agreed on many things. But Jefferson was adamant that the central government should not become too powerful. Greed, corruption and total control were too tempting. That a Virginia farmer could be at the mercy of a New York banker. That the wealthy states would dominate the lesser states...
We, unlike Russia, have someone daring enough to attempt putting the Establishment on its rear. I have reservations about him. He is arrogant, reckless. But as long as it appears that they are his enemy, that he will try to take away their power, I will not oppose him. I feel it is important to at least consider who the real enemy is. Politics aside, it is us against the Establishment. ..
