Talked about reducing taxes BIGLY..... slashed regulations BIGLY.... Consumer confidence is the highest it's been in 15 years thanks to president Trump!!!.

You mean a sitting president met with a foreign ambassador...shocking.

If Obama set up the meeting...why would Sessions lie about it under oath?
You mean a sitting senator met with a foreign ambassador.... shocking.

The only lie is the media contorting what sessions said under oath.

OK. Senator Sessions...I'm going to read a long and boring piece of fake news from CNN which they got from BUZZFEED. We just got it in and it's all fake. It says the Republicans worked with the Russians to steal the election from Hillary Clinton. It also says whores ****** all over Trump in a hotel room. I'm going to ask if you had meetings with Russians while you were working with the campaign and you'll say NO!. Then we'll wait for the day after TRUMPS SPEECH to a joint session of Congress that has everybody feeling good about him. That's when we'll have all our fake news allies and all Dems in the House and Senate crap all over you saying you lied about ever meeting with the Russians when in fact I never asked you that. And it's all from a fake news release in the first place.

What we will not do is remind people I lost my election for Senate until I demanded a recount and we suddenly "found" thousands of votes in taxi cabs and other places that the courts upheld and allowed me to be the vote that gave us OBAMACARE which crippled the economy and now has left the world and the nation mired in an extremely perilous situation.

Then next week everyone will forget about it because we'll be doing some other fake crap about something else but always dealing with Russians and the election and investigations that will take years and our media whores will keep in the fake news until we can limp into the next election and complain the Republicans didn't get anything done.

Franken: "CNN just published a story alleging that the intelligence community provided documents to the president-elect last week that included information that quote, ‘Russian operatives claimed to have compromising personal and financial information about Mr. Trump.’ These documents also allegedly say quote, ‘There was a continuing exchange of information during the campaign between Trump's surrogates and intermediaries for the Russian government.’

"Now, again, I'm telling you this as it's coming out, so you know. But if it's true, it's obviously extremely serious and if there is any evidence that anyone affiliated with the Trump campaign communicated with the Russian government in the course of this campaign, what will you do?"

Sessions: "Senator Franken, I'm not aware of any of those activities. I have been called a surrogate at a time or two in that campaign and I didn't have — did not have communications with the Russians, and I'm unable to comment on it."

No ****...it happens all the time. Why wouldn't he just say, yeah, I met with the Russian ambassador multiple times, doing the business of the senate committee I'm on.

I really don't get it, and you haven't seen or heard me asking for his resignation. He made it way worse on himself by offering up that he was considered a Trump campaign surrogate and he had no contact with any Russians.
If your being honest with yourself you know this is a non-story. There's nothing there. No perjury. No resignation. Just a bunch of libs in the media making up fake news to suit their narrative.

After green lighting the continuation of the controversial Keystone XL oil pipeline in an executive order January 24th, President Trump declared as recently as last week that the pipeline had to use American made steel “or we’re not building one.”

But on Friday, Trump spokeswoman Sarah Huckabee Sanders announced that the directive would apply only to new pipelines or those currently undergoing repair.

That sharp reversal now paves the way for the use of a stockpile of steel manufactured in Canada by a subsidiary of Evraz, a company in which Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich owns nearly a one/third stake.

Abramovich, estimated to be worth $8.9 billion, who ranks No. 151 on Forbes list of the 500 wealthiest people in the world, has longstanding personal and political ties to Russian President Vladimir Putin, whom President Trump has repeatedly praised.

The connection between the oligarch and the steel already produced for the pipeline was first reported by Desmogblog.com, a Canadian website TIME Magazine named to its list of “25 best blogs of 2011.”

According to the report:

40 percent of the steel created so far was manufactured in Canada by a subsidiary of Evraz, a company 31-percent owned by Russian oligarch Roman Abramovich, who is a close ally of Putin and a Trump family friend. Evraz has also actively lobbied against provisions which would mandate that Keystone XL’s steel be made in the U.S.

Abramovich is described in the 2004 book Abramovich: The Billionaire from Nowhere by British journalists Dominic Midgley and Chris Hutchins as ‘one of the prime movers behind the establishment of the only political party that was prepared to offer its undiluted support to Putin when he fought his first presidential election in late 1999. When Putin needed a shadowy force to act against his enemies behind the scenes, it was Abramovich whom he could rely on to prove a willing co-conspirator.’

Evraz describes itself as ‘among the top steel producers in the world based on crude steel production of 14.3 million tonnes in 2015.’

According to a January 2016 piece in The Daily Mail, Abramovich, who also owns the UK’s Chelsea Football Club, gifted Mr. Putin with a 187-foot yacht worth 25 million British pounds after he became Russian president.

The continuation of construction for the Keystone pipeline was the object of months of protest by the Rosebud Sioux and other South Dakota tribes.

Friday’s announcement of the reversal on Mr. Trump’s initial pledge to mandate U.S. steel is an example of how a presidential directive can produce an immediate benefit to a Russian billionaire with direct links to Mr. Putin, even if sanctions imposed in 2014 following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine aren’t lifted.

On February 19 the New York Times reported that three figures, including Mr. Trump’s attorney Michael D. Cohen, conceived a so-called “peace plan” aimed at lifting those sanctions which Mr. Cohen delivered to the office of soon-to-be dismissed National Security Advisor Michael Flynn in late January.

This week, a series of revelations by The Times, The Washington Post and USA Today regarding meetings during the campaign and transition with Russian Ambassador Sergey I. Kislyak by key Trump officials and advisors including former Senator (now U.S. Attorney General) Jeff Sessions, Lt. Gen. Flynn and Trump son-in-law Jared Kushner, have touched off a firestorm on Capital Hill that led to Mr. Session’s recusal Thursday from any current or future probe of Russian interference in the 2016 campaign.

But that recusal doesn’t encompass the transition or the new Trump administration, post-inauguration and a number of Democrats including Senate Minority Leader Chuck Shumer (D-NY) have demanded that the attorney general resign and that a Watergate-style special prosecutor be appointed to investigate both Russia’s impact on the election and any influence it may hold over the 45th president himself.

In a related matter, Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA), the ranking member on the House Intelligence Committee complained Thursday that the FBI has failed to share enough information with the committee about its reported ongoing investigations of Russia’s interference in the election and possible financial transactions between Russian individuals and companies believed to have links to Trump associates.

Trump has been in office for a month. This is liberal politicians and liberal media grasping at straws. It's no wonder the fake news tag is sticking.
