Sweep Through The Years was the first progressive league I ran, back in the old days in the regular sim before i started playing live. It fizzled out after 6 or 7 seasons and I have always wanted to try it as a live league.

The premise is drafting teams in 7 year increments. Season 1 would be players from 1885 to 1891, Season 2 from 1892 to 1898, Season 3 1899 to 1905 and so on.

You must use a season of your drafted player in the 7 year span. Only one instance of each player allowed.

Each owner will submit a keeper list before each draft.

No need for fake AAA as there are plenty of players.

16 teams (4 four team divisions)
Rosters will consist of 31 players, 25 man roster and 6 real life AAA players.
Snake style draft 1st season with draft order being determined by random.org. I will have a live owner not in this league get the random order.
No WW
Trades allowed including future draft picks
No DH until we sweep through until 1973. At that time DH in AL only.
Choose a ballpark when you sign up from the list below.
Due to lack of parks we will use the ones the sim offers through 1905. As new ball parks become active owners will have the option of changing cities and ball parks. You are locked in for the first 3 seasons with your original pick.

Only 2 teams from a city allowed. There are 4 Philadelphia ball parks. Once 2 are chosen the other 2 are off limits

No salary cap
