I really hope my sarcasm came across clear. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this article. It's right in my wheelhouse!

Gotta ask, to satisfy the nerd side: What tool did you do the analysis and visualization with?
2/14/2017 2:36 PM
@gt_deuce: I used R for the analysis and the visualization, it is an awesome tool, though i am trying to learn some Python to do the same work.

Today's run in the Maze is a rumbling bumbling crazy one, i hope for those who were stood up by your valentines dates this can occupy you for a while and make you forget.

Nice work. I use R for my BT Ratings, if you've ever browsed my Ratings/Projections explanation. I use Octave (basically Matlab) for my others. It's all fed by CSV from Excel, which I use to pull the data from WIS and reorganize into formulas and such.

Eventually, I'll use Python for everything.

Thanks. I have used Octave before but it was a while ago when i took a machine learning class. I do not remember much about the class or Octave. I have wanted to do more stats and visualization stuff but my method of getting the data sucks, copy and paste. I need to figure out a way to use a web crawler or something. Wonder how yatzr does it.

Python is wonderful, well at least the bit i explored. I used their Django app to have some fun creating web apps and stuff. Created some pretty cool web pages in my opinion. Now i need to explore more of what Python has to offer.
