My good friend huskerfan26 says other, better, the best, jobs may open up later.

So I'm pulling out of a few of those.

I'll keep yall updated. Because I know you care.

You should pull out of all of them and access first.

I want to stay in Oregon with this account. I live in Portland.

The other accounts I have I'll take the best job available.

Oregon and Texas A&M I'm still looking going for.

I'm interested in returning to Texas. Had decent success there. Think I can kick butt there again. Can always come back to OSU if it doesn't work out.

Do they use my first choice as the first job I'll get if no one else applies?

I think it has to do with the team id number.

No, the IDs are generally* grouped by conference, and there's no rhyme or reason I can figure out for what conferences get lower numbers or higher ones (e.g. Ivy numbers are lower than the ACC).

* In the WAC, Nevada has a number way different than all the other conference schools. I don't know if this is a common thing.

Might just sit out a season.

Not sure.

Such a pain in the *** to check out the jobs once you get fired.

Never knew you could get fired and then hired by the same school...did you apply to OSU only?
2/2/2017 9:28 AM
You can apply after job change. If no one has taken the job at the school that fired you, all yours if you're qualified.

I just found out.

Was gonna go to SD State but someone applied that same cycle after they were open for days.

Then as time ticked away I applied at George Tech because they had the best roster.

But I didn't really want GT. I came back to take an Oregon team. So with a few minutes left before 9pm, the end of coaches change, I pulled out.

Was gonna sit out the season and pick my team up next go around.

But a couple minutes later I clicked on my coach profile and I was now qualified for OSU. They instantly accepted.

Wow...so you went from unqualified to qualified in a cycle? Never seen that before...
