Recruiting Rankins Advice Topic

I'm going to start a show and want to rank teams by their recruiting classes. I noticed Guess Reports has a similar style of what I'm trying to do but I'd like to make it more realistic instead of only a few 4 stars and 5 stars. I want to make it more like 247 sports where there's hundreds and hundreds of stars. Does anyone want to help me out with the ranking process?

Meaning help me scale how any 5,4,3,2 stars their are in the database.

for example here's what I've come up for QB's
5 Stars: 68.0+ (2 players)
4 Stars: 63-67.9 (7 players)
3 stars: 58-62.9 (36 players)

obviously this his needs tuning

Sorry for the typos. iPads are hard to type with.

IPads are also hard to do serious math algorithms with.

The ratings are already set. I'm just trying to match the stars from real life 247 sports or rivals to our GD world and make rankings out of them. Guess reports show 2-3 4 and 5 star players for top ten teams when in real life they would have 9 or 10 then 2 and 3 stars for the rest. Alabama is full of 4 and 5 star players for their classes. Alabama for WIS guess reports does not.

More Realistic than Bob Hazelwood's, Guess Website?

247 Sports should take a look at Bob's site and modify their rankings, imho. Star inflation doesn't make it more accurate.

Yeah, once you get into 2 and 3 star territory the star distinctions are pretty arbitrary. I like that Guess only highlights the cream of the crop.
