I didn't start watching Basketball until around grade four or five. So 1996ish. Kind of makes sense though since I am in the Toronto area.

I started watching basketball when my neighbor(Mr. Naismith) came over to borrow a peach basket.

Who knows what silly ideas may take off.

Maybe cornhole will be a professional sport someday.

i loved those mid 00s pistons teams....no superstars..just a perfect starting 5...may never see that again
My biggest sports win was the Pistons Lakers finals. Had $250 on the Pistons to win in 4, 5, and 6 games. 5 game odds were 43:1.

I'll never forget it.
wow...thats awesome mike

forgot how much of an underdog they were at the time

I think I started really watching pro basketball during the ABA's last year. I used to have one of those red, white and blue balls.

I loved that ball. A little too much bounce, but the easily seen rotation on the ball really helped develop my shot.

Of course I have a replica ABA ball. Ever read Terry Pluto's book Loose Balls? It's great.

Okay, I'll play too.

Sounds like I'm a bit younger than some of you. I was born in Chicago and we moved to Milwaukee in 1990. Good bye MJ and Scottie, hello Brad Lohas and Blue Edwards. We moved back to Chicago after the 1st 3-Peat.

I'm jealous jh. Even though I have always lived in upstate NY, I grew up a Bulls fan after watching them play in the playoffs in '73 with the great Norm Van Lier, Bob Love, Chet Walker, Jerry Sloan and co. Loved their bright red uni's lol. Of course that's how you pick a favortite team when you're 6 or 7 and don't live in an NBA city. Suffered thru many bad Artis Gilmore, Reggie Theus, Orlando Woolridge & Mitchell Wiggins et al years before MJ got there.

Loose Balls is terrific. So is Tall Tales.

So yeah I'm probably the youngest in here by far then... I wasn't even born in 1990, jh.

I am born in 87

born in '92. Grew up when everyone was a Chicago Bulls fan. Had a kids grant hill jersey, loved watching Tmac and Vince do crazy stuff. Those were the days......
