Haven't researched older draft classes to see how they can compete. I'm assuming there are enough players to field a team.

An issue some owners might run into is finding a kicker and/or punter.
I had 1 choice for kicker, 2 for punter

Welcome specsman!

I'm going to wait and see how 2016 Derrick Carr looks and I made end up taking the 2014 draft class. Of course, that's assuming the 2016 players will be released before the NFL draft!

Welcome georgedeer! Looks like we are about half way full. I will give owners time to claim a team over the weekend then I think I'll work on my team and get the league started. Stay tuned!

Who did you have in mind? I'd really like to stick to players that came from the NFL draft. I am allowing players taken in the Supplemental Draft since they are listed in the link I provided.

I was just making sure I fully understood the rules. Robbie Gould was an undrafted player in 2005.

I've put together most of the teams to see what they've looked like and I've noticed some drafts did not produce a kicker or punter so if that's the case with 2005 you can use Robbie Gould. Otherwise, please use players that were actually drafted.

Players from supplemental drafts are okay to use also like Cris Carter in 1987.

I'm probably overthinking this, but how can you quickly sort by special teams players. The only special teams player I can find for my draft is in the undrafted list. 2005 is the year.

I didn't notice this feature on the NFL Draft link I provided until I started putting together teams to see which year I wanted to use.

Click the drop down box next to "FILTER" (great band by the way!) and you can sort by position for each year of the draft. I found this a much easier way to compile teams than going through each round of every draft.

Looks like for 2005 your best options are K Mike Nugent and P Dustin Colquitt so you wouldn't need to use Robbie Gould. Hope this helps!

Thanks, I had found other kickers, I was just was asking in general.

As far as special teams go, how are you guys finding yours? Rarely are players drafted as special teams guys. Unless of course I pick a kicker's special teams (maybe that's how you guys are drafting it)
