From a coach I have played with and whom I like I got this offer: He would pay for the first 3 seasons if I would pick up a horrible team in d2 and turn them into a winner.
For about the past year I have been specializing in picking up good teams , turning them into winners(or in some cases where they were already NC winners, keeping them there), winning a few NC's then moving on and doing it again.
I have been in this game almost from it's beginning and have pretty much done it all at d3 and d2 level. Even won some CC's at 1AA ; then decided I was happier in d2.
Anyhow I find myself looking forward to taking a crap team and making them a winner. Waiting for Rockne to open up.

I thought my head to head challenge idea was better

Rebuilds at D2 are a blast. I need to do another soon.

So do I Realist. But that is not what was offered. Anyway, I am satisfied.

so what is the challenge part? you have to win title by certain season or something?

If I recall correctly, Grunt also offered you a free season if you could pick up a losing team in PSAC in Yost and turn them into a winner.

Nope. Guess my benefactor just wanted to see me do something besides cherry picking.

He may have. Don't remember for sure. But I think so.

My apologies. Mal, not Grunt issued the challenge. I think anyway. You should take it!

That doesn't seem like that tough of a challenge. I don't see any down side in trying either! Especially if it's on someone else's dime
