Back with Juan Uribe - White Sox 2008 - Giants 2009 - Dodgers 2011-2015 - Braves 2015 - Mets 2015 - Indians 2016.

How could all of you have overlooked Whitey Kurowski? Who?

Could somebody clarify something? As long as the teammate played in a season on the same team with the 3B, we can twist the teammate to any other season in his career?

As long as the teammate played with your exclusive in a season when your exclusive was WIS eligible at 3B. you can use that teammate season.

How do you define WIS eligible? I was researching a player who appeared at many positions, but if 3B was a secondary in a given season but he played a few games and has a rating, does that suffice?

The player might have ratings at 3B, but a lot of times that was a secondary position.

The rules for this league for a WIS eligible 3b player are: Type the name of your player, click search to 3B, do not click secondary positions, and set minimum GP to zero
.

I chose Don Hoak, and he was exclusively a 3B with Pittsburgh from 1959 - 1962. If I want to use Roberto Clemente, I must use a Clemente season from 1959 - 1962. It can be a different season than the season I use for Hoak, but must be from 1959 - 1962. Do I understand that correctly?

I'll jump in with the Little Napoleon, John McGraw. (Baltimore 1894-1899, 1901. St. Louis 1900.)

I'm still confused. I get the part that the teammate must have played a season with the 3B when the 3B was eligible, but for the teammate, may we only use
1. seasons he actually played with the 3B,
2. seasons the 3B was eligible,
3. any season of the teammate's career.
Sorry for being so dense.

OK, thanks. That takes away some but not all of the player's seasons, so I have to research more before I know if it will work.

The only teammate seasons that may be used are seasons in which the teammate played with the player in question while he was 3B eligibile. For example, I'm using Terry Pendleton. Among his seasons, he played on the Braves from '91-'94...and then again in '96...I couldn't use, say, a '95 Maddux, because Pendleton didn't play on the Braves in '95...I also can't use a 1998 Jose Offerman, who played on the Royals that season with Pendleton, because Pendleton is not listed as a 3B for 1998...
