Four Way Battle Topic

If you do not decide to fight for recruits Mike, your team will suck and you won't compete. What's the point of playing if you do not intend to win? Or at least be competitive.

Fully understand but you can't have it both ways. You can't fight for your #1 option and expect your 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th options to still be available if you lose. Other people are trying to win too, you know?

Think of it like poker. 4 of you keep raising the stakes. Only one wins. No one gets more money to play at another table and there is no 2nd place.

A while back when Powerball got to $1B, some girl spent ALL her $$ on Powerball tickets. When she didn't win, she posted a GoFundMe because she couldn't pay rent or buy food, and blamed it on not winning Powerball.

There is no GoFundMe in HD; only next season.

Bad comparison. It is not the same problem.

Not really. You spend all your resources on one recruit and can't go after another good option. She spent all her resources on PB tickets and can't pay bills. Seems very similar.

So we go for the bold strategy of spending less resources on your first target for an even worse percentage of winning and hope those resources we saved are spent on a guy who might be serviceable and hope someone doesnt try to battle for as well?

I think this was the reason, I stoped playing powerball and lottery tickets...

No, you do whatever you think is best. But you should know that your 2nd-10th options aren't just waiting around to see what happens when you go after your 1st option. As I said, you're not the only user trying to win. They're not waiting around so you can have a fair shot at your 4th option. They're going after him.
2/28/2017 1:39 PM
And according you and your all knowing HD powers what are you supposed to do since you have all this HD knowledge and love lecturing people about how they aren't playing the game right.

So if you cant go all in on your first option because according to you thats bad, and your 2-10th options are all taken and the 11th option is a 70 year old in a wheel chair do you just call it quits take the walkon and hope you get lucky next season?

Don't get your panties all bunched up. I'm not telling anyone how to win. I'm telling you how it works. I figured you already knew but maybe not.

You are more than welcome to go all in on your first option. Maybe you win, maybe you don't. But, while that's happening, other USERS(real-life breathing human beings who are also playing this game to win) are going after your 2nd-10th options. No one is waiting around to make sure 0nly is happy with his recruiting class.

What part of this is confusing?

Going "all in" on somebody with HV's and a Campus Visit is one thing, going all in with all your AP points is just poor game play.

Nah your just telling people no matter what they do they are doing it wrong, without giving advice other that whatever you did you did it wrong

Lose 1st option putting everything in max preferences 74-26, MikeT "Wrong"

Lose 1st option and then your 5th option, MikeT "Wrong"

Give up and try to just sign 3rd and 4th options lose both VH-H, MikeT "Wrong"

Win battle 32-68 and sign 2 more guys like that. MikeT "Wow you really know how to play the game"

Since you did not understand the first one, I will try a second one: Everyone has choices; they are not free from the consequences of those choices.

If you want a safety net, play Madden on rookie (there is a 3rd one).
